Background Check Policy
Lake Travis Youth Association (LTYA) places the highest priority on ensuring the safety of our young participants, and we consider it both an honor and a privilege to be permitted to coach our youth.
LTYA will require a criminal background check of any individual wishing to coach, assistant coach or volunteer in another role for a team. Volunteers who have successfully completed the background check process will be issued badges that are to be displayed during all practices and games.
LTYA screens for the following offenses, similar to The National Alliance for Youth Sports:

Once the screen is complete, you will receive an email notifying you of your approval status.
